Ella was raised in the small town of Andale, KS. She holds a BA in Theatre Performance from the University of Kansas, where she worked across the genres of musical theatre, devised work, film and traditional plays. During her time in Lawrence she was introduced to children's theatre by working on The Polar Express Train Ride. As a senior, Ella had the distinction of being an undergraduate teaching assistant in musical theatre, and a peer leader as the Loren Kennedy Coordinator for the Department of Theatre and Dance.

Recently, Ella moved to Chicago, Illinois to continue working as an actor and performer.
